choose any other insurer but Discovery! They treat people terribly!

<p>About a month ago, my vehicle was bumped by a person who is a client of Discovery Insure. I followed all the processes and made a claim as a third party and got nothing but pure disrespect. I was firstly advised to go to a panel beater for assessment which I did. Upon my return I received several calls from the company they use for assessments (Net Assist) telling me to go for an assessment when I had already been. To resolve this I had to continuously inform Net Assist and follow up with Discovery Insure to locate the assessment. Eventually they located them and came back with an offer that only included the cost to repair my vehicle, with no option for alternative transport whilst my car is in for repairs (atleast 8 working days). I then raised my concerns and was told by a Ravi Jadoonandan that they were happy to proceed to court to resolve it. I am disgusted by the manner the whole matter was handled and am glad I cancelled my car insurance with them recently. I, infact would go ahead and also cancel my medical aid and entire portfolio with them if my employer was not enforcing it on us to use them. As it is currently, I have to find alternative transport - at my own cost, for being bumped by their client. Over and above that, I have had to endure dealing with a rude and arrogant bunch of people. I place Discovery no where on my list of companies to deal with - disgusted!</p>
