Car value depreciates while premium sky rockets

I have insured my vehicle with discovery insure for 2 years. I can no longer afford the monthly premium because discovery has shot up my premium when I hit the two year mark. I am now cancelling my policy with discovery, I have obtained quotes from a other reputable insurance company and now I will be insuring two cars for less than what discovery was busy charging me for one, very low value car. Discovery insure is now penalising me for leaving by not giving me my hard earned rewards because I am quitting before a three year term with them. My new insurance company lowers their prmiums over time instead of raising them.
