Car insurance not keeping their promices
I was. Involved in an accident than i called discovry insurance me and the third party we agreed that i fix mine he fix his car and i told him to pay my access when the car is fixed so i i involved the insurance campany now they are telling me that what i did is ***** telling the other party to pay my access money because their legal team have contacted the person to pay the amounth of R22000 and that i am suppose to pay my own acess now. The reason why the other party did not fix my car is because he is unemployed and the car that he was driving was a neighborh's car so that the reason I turned to my discovery. I am confused because I am upto date with my payment so what it is exactly that i am paying for if they cannot help me fix my car and now they are not saying anything about my car because appearantly their legal team is still making an arangement with the other person so they can fix my car i am realy not satisfied with the service

That is is not how your policy works.
As your insurer, we assume all the rights in representing you following a claim. You are not allowed to enter into an arrangement with the other party following an incident.
Our legal team together with the claims team are designated to assist in such matters and that is what you pay for. This is part of your benefit and terms of contract.
