Can't do pre-inspection with the app, had to pay tiger wheel and tyre to do it!
I just added another car under my Discovery insure policy this week. I was asked to do a pre-inspection at pg glass or tiger wheel and tyre. There is no pg glass near me so I went to a tiger wheel and tyre shop and asked them to help. Both the sales consultant and the manager told me that I have to pay R95 for a pre-inspection. Come on I mean the guy just walked around my car and filled some papers - like 1 minute and it costs me R95? I wanted to do it on the discovery app which is free but the app keeps crashing so I conld not do it. I tried 4 different phones with the discovery app, all crashing after clicking the pre-inspection page. My other car's pre-inspection was done free at glassfit (I think) when I signed up with discovery insure. Seriously If everytime I change a car and I have to pay for 1 minute pre-inspection (can't do it with the app), I will think of moving away to other insurance companies with my cars.

When you visit a Tiger Wheel & tyre branch, the inspection is two fold ( provided that you participate in our Vitality drive programme ) a Pre-inspection & a Multipoint check.
At the Tiger wheel branch a Multi point check is conducted at a cost of R150.00 and earns you 100 DQ points and an additional 50 DQ points for a service book that is up to date. These points help towards your cash rewards. Following this your pre-inspection is included in the check.
A representative will contact you to trouble shoot and navigate the app with you.
