Cancelled Policy debited
Discovery insure has pathetic service. I was called in July for a quotation to which I cancelled the next day. A few days later I received a call from the retention agent which tried keeping me on board to which I made it quiet clear that I don't want to and would perhaps consider next year.
Lo and behold my account was debited this month! I demand a refund urgently

09 Sept 2021, 09:42Hi. Thank you for the response. Andile was amazing in how he handled the discussion with myself. He was ethical, truthful and acknowledged the error. I commend his excellent service as this gave me a good impression of the company. You definitely need more staff like him.
I do understand that he has submitted everything and this should now be sitting with the refund team. I was promised that the refund would be processed and reflect on my account in 3-5 working days. It is now the 6th working day and there has been nothing refunded into my account.
The refund team has obviously not followed due policy to have this done. Reference number is: ***. I have no time to call your offices and waste airtime on following up. Please assist urgently.
