Cancellation Process is a Nightmare

I had a vehicle policy which I wanted to cancel with Discovery and unfortunately the cancellation process is a nightmare. I am told to wait for extended periods, then each person asks me what is the reason for the cancellation. Now the issue has still not been resolved and I am sent from pillar to post. Joining was not difficult, why is it so difficult when I want to leave?
