Breach of Signed Agreement
After already signing an agreement of loss and expecting a payout into my account on a certain date as communicated to me by my assigned claims adviser, I signed an agreement of sale for a vehicle, went through all the processes involved and expected to pay for and collect my replacement vehicle.

A day late, after the expected day of payout and a day before collection of the vehicle, Discovery Insure sends an EMAIL, at the end of the day, stating that they have made an error in their numbers and will only pay out less than half of the originally stated value.

My problem with this is not the lower value, but that I have poured almost a month of my time, energy and money, including leave from work, into investigating, viewing and test-driving and weighing up pro's and con's of used vehicles based on the expected pay out amount. Finally I have decided on a vehicle, negotiated, payed a non-refundable deposit, have made all the necessary arrangements after a guarantee of payment by Discovery, only to be dropped by them at the last minute.

Now I have legal action by the seller threatened against me and have had to call all parties involved including the warranty provider to cancel.
