Be wary of this vitality drive ****!!
Discovery Insure hasn't been bad until recently when i asked for a policy review and later changed regular driver details. When i asked for a review i was given just over a R100 reduction and was happy and was suckered into trying this vitality tracker gimmick. I'm starting to regret being insured by discovery. Firstly, i pay for my CAR to be insured, providing it is driven by someone with a valid drivers licence. EXPLAIN to me how you justify increasing my premium after decreasing it because my wife is now listed as the regular driver who has a licence for more than 5 years without a accident claim? So she had the part fitted at tiger wheel and tyre and paid a R95 even though i was told i would just have it fitted. There was no mention of a payment. The regret to try your gimmick doesn't stop there. Today my wife got a call from tiger wheel and tyre csaying that DISCOVERY INSURE is claiming that the unit was possibly not linked properly because they not picking anything up. Meanwhile ,my wife have the app linked and ALREADY noticed discrepancies. She noticed the app is giving her penalties for driving 70 in 60 zones which IS marked as a 70 zone which is on her daily route. This does not leave me impressed at all and i feel you need this matter sorted as you aren't the only insurers .
The response you gave me contradicts what was said to the new primary driver. If the info given to her was wrong it means ALL the other clients who had a tracker fitted had issues afterwards. Also, the issue was on YOUR side as you could not find the device linked and yet you made NO effort to contact me . Instead,TWT contacted us. I am not insured with them.
