Bad service from Discovery insure.

I have been with Discovery insure for 5+ years with no claims or incidents. In the last year Discovery Insure's service declined significantly. I dread amending my policy. Firstly, it took no less than 4 phone calls to get a new vehicle insured. They kept getting the vehicle description and model wrong. This after I gave them the correct MM code and specified the model the first time round.

Secondly, I phoned Discovery Insure to notify them that my home alarm has been radio linked. When I received the updated policy schedule my motorcycle premium increased. Another call to Discovery only to discover it was a glitch on Discovery's side. A glitch which I would have paid for if gone unnoticed.

Thirdly, I bought a motorcycle (used) and wanted to add it to my policy. Retail value is about R41 000 which is only R6000 more than my previous motorcycle (removed from my policy in Dec 2018) The quote I received from Discovery was R660. About R100 more than my 2015 Ford Ranger and about R470 more than my previous motorcycle. Again, I have not claimed or had any incidents in the last 5+ years. I got a far better deal with Outsurance.
