Bad service by discovery

I have been insured with discovery for more than 5 years. In June 2023 my husband had an accident and he was not added as a driver because i am the one who frequently drives the car. He went to the EC in our house and attended church in Mthatha. My husband is a reverend. When we lodged a claim they requested his ******** record, bank statements, an affidavit that he went to church and wanted details of the church he went to. This didn't make sense to us and we didn't give them that information but gave the accident report from Saps, case number and his valid driving licence. That didn't help because at the end they declined to pay.
