Bad service
<p>I am Discovery ensure policy holder for over three years, and I was involved in car accident in January, I was bumped by another discovery ensure client/or policy holder. I claimed as third party and I took car in for quotation at BMW Alberante ARC and was quoted R53,000.00. Discovery sent me to their assessment they quoted me R12,000.00. when I asked them about the difference in quotations was told that since my car is out of motor plan was quoted on send-hand parts. For the first-time I hear about something like that were insurance company fixes car with send-hand part. If there a law like that, why didn't why phone me to drop my premium by 77% since there's a difference of 77% in quotations. Can someone help me. R12000.00 was paid in to my account.</p>

As discussed, in the event of a third party vehicle accident, you have the right and option to claim from your insurer, or from the third party, who will in turn hand over correspondence and legal documents to the insurer.
The insurer is then obligated to settle the claim to the extent that the policy holder is legally responsible.
We have settled your claim according to the assessment report supp**** by our assessor report.
As explained, the service provider you have opted to use have a higher paint and labour rate, the labour and paint rate we have used is more affordable.
