Bad insurance “rules”

Had to cancel my home contents insurance with this bunch. They insisted that it was mandatory to insure my camera and lenses under specified all risks at a huge premium. I just want them covered under home contents in case they’re ****** in a burglary or damaged in the house. I will personally insure if I take the equipment out of the house. This is unacceptable to Discovery!! Since when is specified all risks mandatory when taking out home contents insurance? Charlatans....
