Bad faith tactic, inaccuracy and misconduct

Bad Faith Tactic -They use ambiguous, fine-print clauses to twist the facts of an incident just to avoid paying out. They completely ignore the actual evidence provided. Once a claim is rejected, getting a straight answer or speaking to a manager is nearly impossible. Emails go unanswered, and phone agents just pass you from department to department. Automatic Rejections: It feels as though their default business model is to automatically reject legitimate claims the first time around, hoping you'll just get tired and give up. Bosch series 2 washing Machine. Claim registered on 8 May. Assessor Silvex did onsite visit 11 May and advised that this is not wear and tear. Discovery Insure agent called saturday on 23 May- advised claim rejected due to wear and tear. I called in my own assessor who sited electrical damage due to power surges in our area. Callout and report fee R800. 29th May called by Mosa Phillips to advise that claim would be closed off by 1 June. Mosa requested- reports, WhatsApp evidence. Video footage and access to my husband's insurance portfolio. 9 June Aaron Mahlangu confirmed claim rejected. How does an insurance claim wear and tear when the washing machine has been in storage for 14 moths on a 4 year old washing machine? My repair cost R2880
