Bad Experience ever from Discovery for the first time
Bad attitude from Demi Loddo under discovery car insurance who wrote a false statement on my claim stating that my car was damaged on the left side instead of the right side. My car was involved in an accident on the 19th of November 2025. I really appreciate Discovery, from the beginning everything was okay until the 24th of November when I found out that they didn't assess my car so that it can be repaired.
My car was repaired under an unknown company, they called me to come and collect my car as they were done to repair it. To my surprise when I got there my car was only sprayed where it was scratched/ damaged. When I tested my car I noticed that the aircon is no longer working, front right wheel is damaged/ bend ( when I test drive it makes breaking sounds), the windscreen is cracked. When I contacted my insurer regarding these issues, they are telling ke that it's not part of the accident that means I was driving my car with a bend wheel.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. As mentioned previously, we escalated this to our Claims Management team who arranged for an assessor to reassess your vehicle and provide a report on the concerns you raised.
A full assessment was done and the following was provided in the report. The damaged tyre was the left front tyre which was not related to the incident. The windscreen that was damaged was caused by a stone chip and not the other vehicle's bumper so is not related to the incident. The aircon that is not working was poorly repaired before, causing it to leak and, again, is not related to the incident.
We apologise that this may not be the outcome you would have liked but based on the report, there is nothing further we can do on your claim.
