Bad customer service and providing feedback.

On the 26 of August I submitted a claim after my car was bumped. After following up on the claim I eventually got a call and was informed I need to take my car in for an assessment, a couple of days after an assessment was finalised I got a call from an auction company telling me they want to arrange a date of when they can come collect the car, to my surprise I asked why is my car being collected? The lady asked if I haven’t spoken to discovery, I told her that I haven’t heard anything from then, she then said she will ask them to call me and explain.

2 days after speaking with that lady I got a call from Collen Baloyi who informed me that my car has been written off, I then asked him why wasn’t I told this? he said it was the other department that was supposed to call and inform me. 🤦🏾♂️

Collen then informed me of what I had to do and I did everything and sent through the required documents. My car was then fetched on Monday the 19th of September.

Collen has been very bad at proving feedback, I had to constantly follow up with everything, even now I still haven’t been paid out. My car was collected and worse a debit order went off my account in September but they had already taken the car.

When I started liaising with my broker, they told me that the claim is with the finance department and the payout will be done between 2 to 5 days, it’s been 5 days already and I still haven’t been paid out. And when I followed up with Collen today as my broker did not respond to my email Collen told me that there is another document that I need to sign, I had already signed the document he sent to me and my question is had I not followed up with him when was he going to tell me about the document.
