Approved claim simply ignored
I've reported that my shower floor broke in May 2021. The claim was immediately approved after their appraiser looked at it, but the plumbers never returned after initial consultation. A second plumbing company was assigned eventually, but it's the same situation.
The wooden floor underneath the shower has been getting water damage for the past 4 months and will need to be replaced soon.
I would like to switch insurance due to Discovery's ********** performance, but am unsure whether this will invalidate the existing, approved claim.

The plumbers were here yesterday but couldn't finalize the work.
I sent a long email detailing issues to Jane yesterday, but there's no response from discovery or the plumbers today.
This situation is practically affecting my mental well-being... Discovery insure's failures to honour this approved claim, has nearly directly resulted in discovery health having to pay 70k for my hospitalization this month.
I guess I'll have to consider moving my medical & life insurance and banking to more established service providers also.
I can hardly believe this situation I'm in 🤬
