Appauling customer service before I even got signed up
I was called by Discovery Insure who tried to sell me household and vehicle insurance. The lady was polite and courteous, and after she took down most of my details, she handed me over to an executive consultant who displayed such arrogance on this call, that I was completely disgusted. To think that was actually almost convinced and at the brink of agreeing to take up the offer, when this person got irritated by me having to ask questions as well as my feedback to him with regards to the current state of my insurance affairs and the excellent manner in which my was assisted previously by my broker. No thanks Discovery Insure, if this is the level of service I receive prior to sign up, one can only imagine what could occur should I (God forbid) be required to make a claim. Keep your insurance and I'll keep mine!
