Appalling service received from Discovery Insure....

Claim no. ********** Claim Details. I am currently insured with Discovery and I am extremely appalled with the service received. I have lodged a claim to have repairs done on my vehicle however I am directed to a Sub Standard repairer to carry out the repairs. My title is a Moderator in the Digital Assessing Space for Old Mutual Insure, so I am very fami**** with the process. However Trishen Ramluckan sends me an email saying that I cannot use the repairer of my choice which is SMH Paint Technics. This is an Approved repaired that also caters for vehicles that are out of warranty and I have in my time as an assessor, Authorised work to them although the vehicle was out of warranty. Discovery Insure has appointed Net Assess to Assess my vehicle. The Assessment was conducted by an *********** Assessor who did a poor Assessment that is not in line with the repair. I suggest that Discovery Insure attend to this matter with the utter most urgency. Moving forward I would not recommend Discovery Insure to anyone I know if this is the kind of treatment and service they provide.
