App is pathetic

The Discovery Insure app is just pathetic. It hasn't recorded my trips for a month now. Mobile data, bluetooth and location services are enabled on my phone. When I called in I spoke to a consultant who sounded like he has a serious case of the flu (he sniffed and snorted in my ear) who told me it is because the app is not open on my phone 24/7. Really now ?!
