Another Discovery rescue!

Yet another situation where I had to call discovery and once again I was in a complete panic. This time I was on the dangerous N2 and it was dark. Luckily my car could still drive after the incident, but I was terrified and alone. My first call put me in contact with Nthabeleng Mothokoana who calmly assisted me. Realistically when I look back now there was nothing they could do for me, I made a decision to continue to drive as I feared for my safety on that dangerous section of the N2. But that being said, I couldn't have gotten through the remaining drive home without them. Nthabeleng was amazing, so calming and giving me advice while I drove continuing to offer to stay on the line with me until I reached a safe place.

When i eventually got home, i called back to let discovery know i was safely home and to proceed with the formalities an accident would require. This time I was put through to Brandon Pillay who was just as understanding and soothing. His main priority was to ensure my safety and to allow me to calm down. He reassured me and advised he would call back in 15 minutes allowing me to settle.

10mins later i received a call from Nthabeleng who was just checking in on me. This caught me off guard, how absolutely amazing and even more so that I could have an opportunity to thank him for helping me earlier. He assured me that Brandon had started the claim process and would be in contact. Not even 3 mins later, I received the call from Brandon. He calmly asked all the required questions and explained the process.

I am incredibly lucky to not have been injured this evening and so thankful that I belong to Discovery. With service, empathy and professionalism like I experienced tonight and so many other times... how could I go anywhere else.
