Anniversary Increase? Ever Heard of Depreciation?

I received my so-called "anniversary increase" letter last week for my vehicle insurance. It appears that Discovery can't put 2 and 2 together when it comes to vehicle depreciation. My vehicle is worth less than it was last year, and the year before that, but according to Discovery, that means my premium should increase?

I rejected the increase in writing, requesting a requote or I'd be taking my business elsewhere. All I received in return was a garbage mail, very evidently written by dome clueless idiot in your marketing department, spewing that "even if you haven't claimed" and "it'll cost more due to parts being expensive". No requite, no attempt to understand the fact that my car value has decreased. Any other insurer re-quotes without a back and forth, trying to con their way around *********** consumers who are already having a hard time after this pandemic.

Seeing as you still haven't bothered to respond to my original request - please send me proof of cancellation, and refund my October premium. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
