Alternative car parts used for repairs

During the festive period my car got broken into which related in the *****'s steeling my bumper and car headlights. The claim was registered and the repairs was finished a month later. After two weeks of receiving my car back a weird sound came from the area where the repairs were done. I took my car back just to hear that the insurer only authorized alternative parts to be put inside my car for repairs. This led to my car being booked for another repair session. I think the worst part for me is the fact that you pay n big premium every month with the expectation that if something might happen your car will still be the off the same quality, but now it feels like the quality of your car is determined on whether or not the insurer is willing to authorized your genuine car parts. Utterly disappointed.
