On Tuesday( 8/8/2016) night I was a victim of an attempted hijacking and attempted ****** in Soweto. After surviving the incident i contacted Discovery Insure and a brilliant, customer orientated agent named Muntu Maphutha assisted me swiftly through the ordeal. He cared enough to ask me if I am safe. When i responded i am not sure, he immediately said he is going to contact the nearest police station before doing anything else so that the police can come to the scene. The police arrived 10 minutes after we spoke when I asked them how they found out they said my insurance company contacts their station. The towing truck took about an hour to to get to the scene, having the police there made it easier to cope under the given circumstances. Muntu, did not only do his job, but he also was my comforter and kind advisor at my time of need, he really showed genuine compassion.
