Adding salt to my pain, didn't cover my belongings

We had had a great relationship with discovery till recently. When we called them to move from first for women after getting my Citroen, they gave us an overall great deal. I specifically remember the call, with the very patient consultant who spent over 10minutes on the phone with my husband and I making sure that we had everything we needed covered. In speaking to him I remember specifically saying to him, first for women covers my purse, would you please make sure it's covered. And he proceeded to explain that Discovery insure didn't offer that service, but that he would make sure that my purse was covered with other contents. A few months ago I got a new camera and equipment, called them and asked them to please cover it, like I do with all my valuables. A month ago my car was broken into, my purse and camera bag with all my equipment where ******. After a few days of crying, emotional trauma and police stations I called the insurance, only to have them tell me that none of my belongings where covered. <br> I get there is really not much I can do, the only evidence of the contract is the recordings that they have. I don't expect much from this. Just expressing my sad disappoinment.
