A very unhappy Discovery Insure client
I had a accident involving my motor vehicle, a Ford Focus 1.6 2007 model. My car was given to the insurance on 10/01/2019 for an assessment. Today (21/01/2019) my still sits there at the service provider without anybody contacting me to give an update since 11/01/2019. I had to call one of the claims agents who sent me a report of the damages. The damages assessed did not cover all that i reported on the claim. After my car hit an embankment as a result of wet weather conditions after i lost control negotiating a bend. My car wasn't the same, there are dents all over the car as a result of rocks and stones hitting the car as well as an erratic idle of the engine after my car landed heavily on the ground. My rims were buckled but on the assessment report they claim the car needs "wheel alignment". Clearly they are not sending the cars to be properly assessed. They are looking for a cheaper way out to settle a claim. This is not proper short term insurance etiquette. I am totally disgusted with the service and am being treated most unfairly. They have no integrity and certain do not provide the service they so proudly advertise. My claims consultant was Peter Rankhathali then handed over to Fazeela Tennant. My policy number is ********** 570 and claim number is ********** . Can somebody please help in resolving this matter urgently.
