I had a good service from Teddy Lerumo.
I called BMW for assistance but I found out that I was out of my plan already but they adviced me to get a technician for my vehicle and request roadside assistance from my insurance company which I did. I called Discovery at around 12:45 and I spoke to Teddy who offered to call me back as I was calling from my cellphone and he did that a few seconds later. I explained my situation and he said he will get me a tow truck, a few minutes later he called me back to ask if my vehicle gear was on Park and told me that I'm gonna need a technician for that and he is going to try to get a towing service that can assist me with that and he called me again to inform me that he got it. I called BMW to cancel the technician since the towing company will sort it out. I called him back a few minutes later to give him the address where we taking the vehicle, he called me later to inform me that the towing company that he got first said the address I gave is too far for them but he got another company. He told me he spoke to his superior about my situation and everything is in order.
A guy arrived around 14:40 from the towing company and he tried to charge my car battery with no luck, he even jumpstarted my vehicle which I was more worried about because my car is an automatic but I didn't wanna complain because I don't know much about cars and since they were sent by my insurance company it means they trust them and they will be responsible for anything going wrong and the truck arrived about 30 minutes later. The driver told us that he was not told that he was supposed to release the vehicle gear from Park so that it can be loaded onto the truck and he didn't wanna be held liable for anything going wrong. They waited with us while we were busy trying to resolve this problem with the insurance company. Unfortunately Teddy was not around to assist and Simon was assigned to assist with my case. We couldn't resolve this matter I asked to speak to the manager.
They gave the phone to Paulos who sounded like an Afrikaans speaking person who was so rude and impatient. He even dropped the phone on us twice. I personally feel that he shouldn't be working with clients because of the way he is. The second time he called I asked him questions that he didn't wanna answer but went straight to asking for the information that he wanted from me and I gave it to him and he just dropped the phone without even saying bye or anything. After that drama I called them back to find out was happening because the tow truck people left and I was sitting there stranded. I asked for Simon but I was told he just went out and I asked for Teddy and I was told he is busy on the phone but they'll ask him to call me back which he did a few minutes later. He asked me to update him as he just came in from lunch and he was not briefed about my case. I told him what happened and that I already requested for a technician on my side since me and Paulos couldn't resolve that matter and I just needed a towing truck from them as it was getting late. He called me to inform me that the truck is on the way and about 40 minutes later my technician and another towing truck came and they checked if we were okay and they assisted us very well. Teddy kept on calling for the updates until he heard that we were safely home.
