A positive review of and a suggestion for Discovery Insure
I just received a call with a far better offer on my 2015 Nissan Micra 1.2L - zero excess and R1700 lower premium that my previous insurer, with a tracking device and rental included.
They even assisted me with the cancellation of my previous policy - a great service for ease of mind.
A suggestion/tip: The zero excess is excellent, but it does not apply to anyone but the SINGLE regular driver. My partner and I basically share my car, so both of us drive the car equally regularly. I would be willing to pay a quite a bit higher premium in order to register TWO regular drivers that qualify for the zero excess on both. Naturally, an insurance company cannot offer blanket coverage to any driver allowed to drive a car, but allowing for two registered regular drivers (at a higher premium) seems like a nice addition that would attract quite a few more customers.
