A disappointing Discovery!

We have had back and forth emails with a Discovery Claims consultant and other colleagues from mid September and have still found no joy whatsoever.

First Discovery back tracked on a claim they had approved on my son’s car that had to have an engine replaced. We then accepted the decision and proceeded to have the vehicle repaired ourselves. At that time, they had already taken possession of the documents relating to the vehicle and the spare keys of the vehicle which they still have.

On 27 September 2023, they informed us on email that they would be returning the documents to us which we still have not received. We have thus written to them on several occasions requesting that these documents be returned and have also committed to collecting them ourselves and have been informed repeatedly that a driver is on the way and other stories about why the driver did not arrive to bring the documents. It’s been 2 months with multiple emails but no real action.

We are very disappointed with the service we have received from Discovery and we are hoping that this matter will taken with the utmost urgency. All we want is the documentation and the keys to vehicle to be brought back to us!
