3rd PRTY CLAIM WAS NEVER REGISTERED

On 28/11/2014 I was involved in a minor Prang with someone in Plattekloof with my Nissan 140GX (Which then was insured for 3rd party/fire/theft) I reported the incident on Monday 1 December, and after a lengthy telephonic conversation the gentleman on the other side said, it's fine, if the 3rd party register a claim, the system will pick it up....<br> <br> I left it there, as I thought it was handled correctly.<br> <br> To my surprise, a couple of weeks ago, I received aa letter of demand from the other party's lawyers claiming an amount of R3972.88 for damages. I phoned them, and they said that Discovery has no knowledge of the incident.<br> <br> I have tried numourus times to contact Discovery, but I can't get to the right person, or the phone gets cut off.<br> <br> I have cancelled my insuranse in december with them, and moved to another supplier who offered me better premiums. This is ludacris! I demand an answer and explanation of this utter poor service, and quit frankly breach of contract, which is binding since I was insured during the time of the incident!
