My vehicle got involved into two car accidents within one year while covered with Discovery Insure

The first time I was not driving and my brother was. The accident happened on the N4 and it was because we were driving on the fast lane and a truck decided to change lanes from middle lane to fast then we shift changed to slow lane only to crash with a vehicle driving much slower. The claim was reported and shortly sorted. I got offered a curtesy vehicle just the following day. The accident was fully covered by road assist guys and really the validation process was not much a hassle. This was in April 2025

The second accident happened just last week, first week of October 2025. Today my vehicle is written off because it got crashed while parked and I’m quite happy with the management of the processes. I even got the outstanding cover amount after paying they paid settlement with my vehicle loan finance people.

All I can say is that my monthly premiums of about (2K) in 11 months got me covered for costs of over 200 000 rands of this vehicle in accidents
