Your service providers are ill-informed

This is a complaint regarding discovery health and their service providers. My GP informed me that i could go to the dermatologist with his referral and claim back from this insurance- I followed this instruction and even at the Dermatologist said the same thing. Discovery health has rejected my claim, and will not reimburse me because i needed authorization before. Now i sit with the bill (of R1500- a third of what i live off a month), because all these parties were miss-informed. Someone needs to pull up their socks- and it is not me!!
