Your daughter does NOT deserve the best care!!!!

It's been one month shy of a year of battling to get a PMB and Chronic Medication, registered for my youngest daughter. I have now again been informed that his has again been declined due to the fact that Discovery does not deem this a PMB regardless of the fact that the specialist has sent through numerous motivations and application forms and that we had done a recent battery of test in December 2018 to ensure we could provide the most recent results. Discovery refuses to discuss the reasons of them not approving this with the specialist or with myself and all we receive is a generic email stating we can appeal the decision. I am beyond fed up! The specialist will again as a last attempt submit a new application and more motivations, however I must say I think it would be better to just go directly to the Council for Medical Aid Schemes and ask them for a resolution. Clearly Discovery knows better than the specialist treating my daughter!
