You really can not install any sort of conscience in parasites

No matter how much time you have to waste on them you really can not install any sort of conscience in parasites. Demons sans any integrity continue to reign over hard working humans, wasting their time and ensuring that legalized mugging is the norm.

Discovery asked for a urine test as part of my application to join them, which they agreed to pay R91 for, The conditions of having to have a doctor present, at the taking of the sample etc meant I could not have it done at a laboratory while no lab. would do it for the price on offer, and so it was done through my doctor, who not being as greedy and as unaccountable as discovery, did not charge me for it, but the laboratory charged R258 which was paid by my existing medical aid, out of my savings. I asked for the R91t hey promised to be paid, to be refunded to me, but they said the laboratory must credit this to me, and they would pay the laboratory for the test instead.

For well over two months this saga has been going on with the onus on me to get the money back from the laboratory and I have been called unreasonable by Claire Crosby, as in expecting them to pay me (only the R 91 agreed) would amount to the account being paid for twice. Refunding me, only there, agreed to pay amount of R91, of the R258 I paid, is them paying it twice, and somehow inconceivably greedy of me and according to Claire I am refusing to understand her point of view. She also promised to sort out why I had not received the points for a health test and a bicycle race. The points which according to Discovery would be allocated within 4 to 5 days have been queried, (with reference no’s) twice, each time giving them a further 5 days more to sort out. These points (if allocated on time) would have enabled me to get a 25% discount for a flight to Cape Town, which goes up the closer you get to the time, so the discount on a R800 flight now is on a R1800 flight so really not worth it anymore.

Like normal big business and their employees are unaccountable and the ombudsman just as ******** and useless. The fact that their adverti*****ts and promises are proven to be lies, and they can impose impossible conditions, and red tape like any dictator only would, and that more and more of your time is wasted, on approaching the ombudsman, who then just gets them to do it. There is no punishment or prevention of companies being able to operate like that, so hundreds and thousands more are treated the same way, while you had to find the time and money to get the least thing done. What is the ombudsman’s purpose? There were other problems and issues with Discovery which are to numerous to document here.
