You just a number with Discovery Medical Aid

How do a company like Discovery get away with rather losing you as a customer, than allowing you to change your package? Is it because they so big? Great was my disappointment when it was made very clear that you rather go elsewhere than what we try retain you as a customer. How does one of the biggest medical aids have this service attitude and get away with it?
