Worst Service in The World
My experience with Discovery has caused me nothing but worry and stress. From them almost canceling my membership to getting phone calls saying my authorisations have been approved when they haven't, someone is definitely not doing their job right. I changed to Discovery after I got married and in the last 3 months, it's been nothing but problem after problem. I had been dealing with a lady named Leah Gounder who I now cannot get a hold of (I've been trying for the past 2 days). She called me last week to approve my authorisation. I then proceeded to book my appointments based off of this news, only to find out that the file from Discovery still says no decision has been made and no one knows where she got this information from. How unprofessional. I can completely understand approvals taking time but for an agent to reach out to confirm an approval that apparently never happened is just beyond me. I am now stuck paying the bill for the appointment since Leah couldn't get her facts straight. Yesterday I called into the call centre and was put on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on. No one called me back. So on top of paying a small fortune for medical insurance and taking time out of my work day to sit on the phone with Discovery, I now also have to pay for my appointment bills. Is this what Discovery stands for? Please also keep in mind that bringing this to social media was a last resort for me. I am highly frustrated with the service I've received and there was no way for me to even leave feedback with Discovery themselves. And lastly, to make things just that much worse, if I request for access to the phone call that took place where Leah confirmed everything, it will take another 30 days.
Think twice before signing on with Discovery, you're not gonna get your money's worth and you're gonna be sitting on the phone with them for hours before any authorisation gets approved.
