'Worst service from Discovery Health

If I could give a zero for this review I would. I have received the worst service from Discovery and their consultants. I would not recommend getting a Discovery Medical Aid benefit as you will never fully understand what you have because the people who work for Discovery dont even know what they are selling. This is the second time I am on hellopeter and I have got 2 calls from Discovery Consultants admitting they were wrong and gave me the incorrect information, which is all recorded.

To elaborate regarding the medical aid again. I bought into the fantastic medical aid that was sold to by Bongani Mhlongo who I would not recommend dealing with as he is useless. I took sport injury benefit which i was told covers the following. - 2 x visits to a specialist for R 100 per visit - 2 x x-ray, CT scans, MRI fro R 100 per visit - 4 x bio, physio, chiropractor for R 100 per visit

only to find out that this was not the case at all. I went to Linksfield hospital yesterday to see to my shoulder. I had to pay the specialist R 950 I had to pay for the x-ray R 581 I had to pay for the MRI R 2900

So that is a total of R 4 431.

This is not why I have medical aid and every time i call Discovery to try sort this out i just get a different story and it just gets escalated and nothing happens. I have been trying to sort this out for the last 4 weeks now and i have had no success.

So basically in summary i would not take any Discovery medical aid products as the only thing they focus on selling you is how fantastic their Vitality product is but when it comes to actually using the benefit of your medical aid the story changes every time.
