Worst service ever

I've been on Discovery Health insurance for over 15 years. Purely because of my employment however I have endless issues. It seems like they operate in a robotic world, no medical understanding is app**** to individual cases. After having my specialist surgeon provide medical records and motivations they still reject procedures . My most recent procedure was authorised only for discovery to pay 18% of the claim, not even 100% of the surgeons rates were covered. Subsequent to the procedure I was asked for motivation, after two months of back and forth they agreed to pay R1 400 of R8 600. They are very quick to take your monthly premiums and try to sell you every product they have but when its time to pay out its like casting water out of a rock. It is an extreme emotional roller coaster having to deal with the medical implications but also the financial that Discovery has caused. I would advise others to research and find another Health insurer to avoid these issues.
