Worst Service

My first time with Discovery but I am not impressed with their service. It's worthless one to have medical aid that is paid monthly but still struggle to receive services paid for. I am on waiting period for particular illness for 12 months I got sick and needed emergency attention. Unassumingly before the surgical procedure we thought it was due to the sickness I was on waiting period for, due to life threatening incident I had to borrow money to carry on with procedure as medical aid pre-authorization still pending decision. One consultant advised that I can either wait for decision or continue using my cash. I had no choice but continue with procedure. Since the 14th the decision is not taken so meaning I would have lost my life if I had no cash to pay hospital bills waiting for their decision making. Amazingly Doctors find out that whatever the sickness was not due to the one I'm on waiting period for and it was something else. Still Discovery health is yet to take decision. They don't care about people but the money they get.
