Worst serves

I’m writing this out of pure frustration. My wife has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer last year. The initial operation was done nov 2019 and treatment started after that. And there our nightmare started. The first oncologist that we visited and the treatment centre was not recommended by the aid. So after almost 2 months we heard from the medical aid that suitable oncologist and treatment centre was found elseware in Cape town. Apon visiting the oncologist that they provided we were informed that they will not pay the consultation because the practitioner was not contracted to them. After many fights they eventually submitted. Then came the treatment at the hospital THEY proposed as the right place for radio active iodine treatment. Firstly the hospital has never done any procedure like that before. They don’t have isolation rooms for radio active treatment. The staff was only trained for the procedure last week. The don’t have an idea what is a low iodine dieet is. My wife is alone in a room as it should be, but once she is released other patients are going to use a room that was exposed to radio active material. I’m not blaming the hospital for this but the board of medical nincom****s at discovery that dumped this on them. How can they recommend a hospital that is not geared for this. I recon after this is all over we will get a mail stating they will not pay for the treatment because of some or other reason they dreamed up now. This is really the worts medical on earth and some of the other people named them as mafia
