WORST MEDICAL AID... EVER

I was admitted into hospital on Friday. Money came out of our savings. I went to our network hospital. It came to about R4300. My husband has had to have approval for an urgent surgery he needs done to prevent cancer and now Discovery has denied it. Why do we actually pay the amount of money we pay each month for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We are wanting to leave and have given our month's notice and now we are being told we have to pay the upfront amount it cost me last Friday for casualty to them as we used it before the 12 months was up... We have been with Discovery for over 4 years, and this is how we have been treated. We have paid every month and haven't claimed for things other than this. We will be taking legal action against you. Sis on you Discovery. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Once the best medical aid to be on in SA now the BIGGEST ******. We are trying to get my Husband to have this surgery so he doesnt get Cancer, because if he gets it, you still probably won't cover Chemo, Radiation and Surgery. FAT JOKE.
