Worse pre-authorisation ever

<p>On Monday the 15th August i was suffering from a severe leg pain and i went to the doctor who referred me to hospital for admission.Unfortunately I was not admitted as Discovery Health declined my admission.They said my gp still needs to fill in some forms and return them back to them.The whole process will take 8 to 16 hours.its Thursday morning and I am still waiting for authorisation from discovery .For 4 days I am sufferring with no treatment and yet I have a medical aid that I pay for every month.When my wife had the same problem last year we decided to upgrade from keycare to coastal plan thinking things would change.Now i have to go to a government hospital to get help otherwise im gonna die waiting for the help I pay for.This is so disappointing especially because Discovery Health is such a big company.</p>
