Without Medical Aid as Discovery Health Removes Dependent Without Written Consent or Confirmation.........

<p>I am a member with Discovery Health from 2012 and today I found out my wife has been removed from my medical aid plan without my written consent or telephone confirmation. </p> <p>I received a call from Discovery Health during the month of June 2016 and their staff ask me if I was aware my wife requested to be removed from my plan. I inform them, there must be a mistake as my wife has not made such a request and they must investigate further, where the request came from as it is **********. I have not receive any feedback from them up until today and now my wife is without medical aid cover as Discovery Health continued to remove her even though I inform them it is incorrect. </p> <p>In my opinion medical aid is a very important necessity and a must have in South Africa. What will happen now if my wife needs to be hospitilised...who will cover the cost for hospital fee? </p> <p> </p>
