Wisdom teeth extraction - not covered!

<p>I visited the dentist as a member of discovery health since 2009 to date, to have m wisdom teeth sorted out, to my dismay the extraction of the wisdom teeth is not covered. Now, as we grow older we do getr wisdom teeth, they decay and one is payng a medical aid that refuses to pay for the extraction of the decayed wisdom teeth. You do not foresee nor apply to have the wisdom teeth to ache but however if you are not well and have the a medical aid that you pay for doesn't want to cover for that. </p> <p> </p> <p>I made a call to discovery health in this regards and couldn't n be assisted by the consultant that answered the phone, I sent an email to them, I received an email confirming receipt of my query, I sent a follow up email, I received feedback email saying that I should wait 6 to 8 weeks, the 9 weeks passed and I followed up again and my query was sent to another department. From the rimwe I sent the first email todate I received no call, no email from discovery health for any assistance. </p> <p> </p> <p>I don't understand why I should be forced to pay for the medical aid that is not working for me with the little money that I have and suffer the tooth ache at the end of it all for over 3 months. The dintist that I went to assisted and did something for the time being to relief the pain but now it has started wearing off and this is giving me endless pains. </p>
