WIDOW LEFT DEVASTATED BY DISCOVERY’S REFUSAL TO PAY FOR MEDICAL EXPENSES

Connie McCamlie (membership number ********** 61) has been left devastated by Discovery’s refusal to pay for hospital and other medical expenses following her husband’s death in November 2015.

Discovery unilaterally and without prior notice, reversed all pre-approved payments to these suppliers in December 2015 some three weeks after her husband Roy’s death.

Three years later Connie is still seeking justice. On 7 December 2018 Discovery is appealing an order by the Registrar of Medical Schemes ruling ordering it to pay the medical costs.

Just another case of a corporate giant abusing a defenseless widow.
