Why is everything a fight?
Once again Discovery Health has managed to find an excuse to not pay.

I am on a medication where I was taking 2 tablets per day ( 150mg & 75 mg). The chronic department paid for both of these tablets. The doctor upped the dosage ( 2 tablets of 150 mg per day)

Discovery will only pay for half of the medication. When I called the call centre I was told to appeal the decision or the doctor must put on to a medication that is on the formulary. All I got was a scripted answer. I lost my cool and eventually put the phone down.

(Don't know what happened but the agent called back to apologise. Also scripted)

I have emailed Adrian Gore's office and received an auto response that Yashin Lallchander is not available until the end of Feb. I tried to call only to be told that he/she is in a meeting and will call me later. Which is it?

Where does leave me? Having to fork out more money to pay for medication that should be covered.

I don't have any more fight in me, Discovery you win. Perhaps it is niave of me to think that if I pay a company for goods or services, they will provide good/service.
