Why is Discovery making it impossible to be able to afford Medical aid??

I’m writing this with tears in my eyes, Ive been with discovery health for 5 years now, never missed any payments, hardly ever go to GPs … it feels like they have now deliberately made it impossible to be able to afford medical aid. Im forced to have to cancel my medical aid, because it’s impossible to afford R4625 for medical aid on a salary of R14 000. Every year since sign up my premium has almost doubled yearly, yet benefits decrease rapidly, almost nothing that I signed up for 5 years ago is valid anymore… I have a 7 month old as a dependent, of which most of my income goes to, to support him, thus Im left in a very vulnerable position by Discovery Health.
