Why have medical aid if they don't do anything

It's such a great feeling walking into Dischem and requesting my wife's novorapid insulin pens and only be told Oh no sorry, It's Chronic medication and they only pay R22 towards the novorapid and I need to pay more than R300 if I want it. So please explain to me AGAIN if I have chronic medication why is it like this? I have had problems EVERY SINGLE TIME I need to get my wife's medication for diabetes that you don't pay or only pay like maybe 10% of the total and I need to pay the rest out of my pocket. completely useless, this doesn't happen at any other medical aid company, but no, I had to go with Discovery, why didn't I listen to not go to you.
