Why cover one but not the other

This is more of a question than a complaint but I have no idea how else to get hold of you to ask...

Why do Discovery cover bariatric surgery which had to be approved for medical and health reasons, but you do not cover the skin removal surgery after?

Discovery know full well that after bariatric surgery that excess skin is going to be a problem and could even lead to infection due to the constant rubbing or tearing of the excess skin, yet don't cover it??

That doesn't make sense because very hectic processes and requirements are needed to have bariatric surgery for medical and/or health reasons. One would think because Discovery approved the bariatric surgery that they would cover some portion of the excess skin removal process. Having the excess skin removed is NOT cosmetic, it's vital as excess skin causes pain when it hangs or can get an infection because of tearing and/or moisture.

Please seriously think of covering either one or some portion of cosmetic surgery!
