What's the point of having medical aid?"

I am just so dissapointed and i just feel like dying now. I am shocked, sick and about to give up. I never expected this from Discovery after being with them for over 15 years. I feel i have been treated unfairly simply because i once lost my job. Being told that i can go to public hospital while i have medical aid.
