WHAT SPECIAL BENEFIT ??????

Just so angry with the benefit options - after having gone for my mammogram (covered from the special benefit) I was told I need a biopsy because something showed up in the mammogram that need further investigation. I called Discovery with the codes thinking this too would fall under the 'special benefit' well how wrong I was. This biopsy which can cost approx. R5500 comes out of your savings, and if you don't have savings, well then pay out of your pocket AND if you can't well then tough luck - take a chance and dont do the biopsy and see what happens in the next couple of months or the next two years, because that is when you can go for another mammogram - under the SPECIAL BENEFITS. This is womens health and should be covered under a specific benefit, not subject to savings. Obviously Discovery is managed by MEN.
